‌Common materials for handles include copper, aluminum alloy, zinc alloy, plastic, brass, etc. ‌ Each material has its own unique characteristics and applicable scenarios:

‌Copper handles‌: Copper handles are favored for their elegant appearance and excellent performance. Copper has good ductility and plasticity, and is easy to forge into complex shapes, showing a delicate sense of craftsmanship. After oxidation treatment, a protective film will form on the surface of copper to enhance its corrosion resistance. It is often used in retro-style furniture, such as classical European furniture and Chinese mahogany furniture, adding a noble and elegant atmosphere to the interior space. Advantages include good thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity, wear resistance, long service life, unique color and texture. The disadvantage is that the price is high and regular maintenance is required to prevent oxidation and discoloration.

‌Aluminum alloy handles‌: Aluminum alloy handles are known for their lightness and firmness, and have good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. Aluminum alloys are easy to process and have a variety of surface treatments, which can present rich colors and luster. Widely used in modern homes, office furniture and public facilities, especially in humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms. The advantages are lightness, easy installation and use, corrosion resistance, simple maintenance, and moderate cost. The disadvantages are relatively low strength, not suitable for bearing excessive tension, and the surface treatment layer may be worn due to friction.
‌Zinc alloy handles‌: Zinc alloy handles have high hardness and strength. After surface electroplating, they can present a variety of colors and have good stain resistance, acid resistance, and corrosion resistance. They are commonly used in cabinets, wardrobes, drawers and other furniture, especially suitable for humid environments. The advantages are wear resistance, durability, not easy to deform, and high cost performance. The disadvantage is that the weight is heavy, and the load-bearing capacity must be considered during installation. It may fade after long-term exposure to sunlight.
‌Plastic handles‌: Plastic handles are the cheapest, but the durability and aesthetics are relatively poor. Due to the characteristics of plastic materials, plastic handles are easy to deform and corrode in humid environments, so it is not recommended to use them in humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms.
‌Brass handles‌: Brass handles combine exquisiteness and light luxury, with a retro and elegant temperament, suitable for matching cabinets with simple shapes. Brass has better corrosion resistance, higher density and feels heavy.
